Giving back to your library

The Prahran Mechanics’ Institute was created from the subscriptions and donations of the local community, and throughout its 150-year history, the generosity of members has played a vital role in the survival of the PMI and its library.

People have supported the PMI in many ways including:

• donating unwanted Australian books
• making a tax-deductible financial donation
• volunteering in the library or at home
