The PMI Annual General Meeting (AGM) will be held on Thursday 16 May 2019 at 7:00pm.
We request that members arrive at 6:30pm, the meeting will commence promptly at 7:00pm. To avoid delays, RSVP either by phone (9510 3393) or online via the RSVP button below. This will also assist with catering. Upon arrival, please be prepared for a short queue as staff record your attendance.
As a member of the PMI, we encourage your attendance at the AGM. We wish for all of our members, as part of the PMI community, to have the opportunity to have their say in the future running of the PMI Victorian History Library.
After the AGM, Liz Porter, award-winning legal affairs journalist and author will be giving a talk on the history of the Victoria Police Forensic Science Centre which is the topic of her current PhD.Liz is known for her prize-winning books about “the real CSI” – the way forensic science is used to solve crime. Her latest book is Crime Scene Asia: when forensic evidence becomes the silent witness. She is also the author of Written on the Skin: an Australian forensic casebook, joint winner of the 2007 Ned Kelly award for the best true crime book, and Cold Case Files, winner of Sisters in Crime Australia 2012 Davitt award for best true crime book.
