Be Connected Technology Lesson: Staying Safe Online and Communicating Overseas

As we now live in a digital age, it can be hard to know the best ways to ensure that you keep your personal information secure. In this workshop, we go through some methods to ensure what is yours, stays yours. Including:
– How to create a good password, and how to manage your passwords
– Tips for avoiding viruses and malware
– Handling unwanted contact online
– Avoiding scams
– What is social engineering?
– How to stay in communication with loved ones when travelling
Please bring along your own portable device or laptop.
