Book Launch: The World Is One Kilometre: Greville Street, Prahran

The World is One Kilometre: Greville Street, Prahran explores 180 years of life in the area from before European settlement to the present day.

Mayor of Stonnington and Vice President of the PMI Victorian History Library, Cr. Steve Stefanopoulos, will launch award winning historian, Dr Judith Buckrich’s splendidly researched and illustrated history of one of Melbourne’s most remarkable streets. An exhibition will accompany the book launch.

From Monday 5 August, the exhibition will be available to view throughout the month of August, at the PMI Victorian History Library during library hours.

The launch is presented by the PMI Victorian History Library and the PMI Press. It will be held in the Auditorium of the Prahran High School at 138 High Street, Windsor.

Refreshments will be provided.

For those who bought their books through the Pozible campaign, you can pick up your signed book(s) at the launch.
