Submission Guide
The PMI Press Reading Committee would like to thank all those who submitted works for 2009. We have now made our selection for the forthcoming publishing schedule.The next submission round will occur in September 2010. Watch this space for further details. If you have any questions about PMI Press in the meantime, please don't hesitate to contact the Administrator.
Manuscripts must be:
- non-fiction. PMI Press is concerned with the publication of works relating to any aspect of history within the state of Victoria, Australia. We do not publish works of fiction or fictionalised works based on or inspired by history.
- complete. The reading committee cannot make a final decision on any submission for which only part of the manuscript has been provided in hard copy format.
- typed or printed, one and a half or double spaced on one side of A4 paper. Pages should be numbered and securely fastened or bound.
- accompanied by a submission form (please print out and complete in block letters)
- accompanied by a stamped, self-addressed envelope for return of manuscript if necessary

If you provide an email address, a confirmation of receipt of the manuscript will be sent to you. Prahran Mechanics’ Institute has a small staff, but every attempt will be made to reply to submissions within three months.
