The annual Victorian Seniors Festival is back for its 36th year, celebrating and supporting older Victorians to participate in community life with a month of activities, events and entertainment.

Throughout October, our senior community are invited to enjoy a variety of outings, concerts, seminars, workshops and exhibitions, which celebrate their significant contributions.

The Victorian Seniors Festival is a Victorian Government initiative that supports and celebrates the contribution of Victoria’s one million seniors. Now in its 36th year, the Festival will showcase social, cultural and educational activities throughout the month of October. The events are hosted by the Victorian Government, local councils, community groups and commercial partners.

Festival events are free or low-cost, and free public transport will be available for Seniors Card holders across Victoria from Sunday 7 to Sunday 14 October.

Following our successful events program in 2017. the PMI Victorian History Library are pleased to announce we are once again taking part in the festival.  Our month long events program is now live on the events page of our website.
