A reunion of past Prahran Technical School students took place at the Prahran Town Hall on Sunday 27 October 1996. Over 500 former staff and students who attended the school were gathered together at this event. The reunion was held, not only to celebrate Prahran Mechanics’ Institute’s founding of the school, but also to locate participants and memorabilia for the Prahran Technical School oral history project which was commenced in 1996.
